Flowers and Bison!

Brace yourselves.....I have actual knitting and spinning related content today. Should be novel, eh?
But first, a quick walk through my garden.
My garden is confused as evidenced by the daisies.....

the bird of paradise,
and the camellias. (well actually, Camellia is doing what she knows is right!)

Yep, I have flowers, and the daisies, um, well they should be asleep....silly little things. But I am not complaining, since flowers are definitely something to be grateful for....imagine a world without them.....it would be drab indeed....no color, no dyes, no new plants....***shudder***

And finally, voila! The bison. I have two ounces that I am spinning up to what may be fingering weight. I think it might be a valentine's day gift for my mother, au natural, so she can decide what color she wants it to be dyed.

Wow. Well even though they're messed up, they're still beautiful!

Love the bison too--is it soft??

Bezzie, the bison is very soft....it's the downy undercoat.

It's soft like cashmere and quiviut and similar in texture, but way more robust and sproingier....the technical term, no really!
