Happy Holidays and a Lucky New Year!

I am a little late in wishing everyone a happy holiday season, regardless of which holiday you observe, or don't, for that matter.

So Have a happy holiday season, or longest night or pleasant winter, and a Lucky New Year. We can all use a little luck in the year....hopefully, good luck.

And I have some pictures for the week.

I spun some Churro from Sarah of TeleKnitter in a bulky weight......and plied most of it with the accompanying Corriedale.....I have about 350 yds total of a soft fluffy bulky wieght.

I also started and finished the Fastest Socks in the West from some of my handspun from a while ago....they remind me of malachite, the way it striates and changes color. The best part is that I apparently still have enough yarn for at least another pair of socks, since I hardly put a dent in the balls.

Happy new year to you, too!

I don't remember your email, so I'm posting here.

To get Torchwood, you'll have to go to http://thepiratebay.org/ and do a search for "torchwood". You will also need a bit torrent client - those should be somewhat easy to find. J does it all for me, so I'm a bit of a novice at all this. The first two episodes have some sound problems, but you can still see them.

Oh, and we're going to be in SF in March. What part of the bay area are you in?

Happy new year to you!

Everybody is spinning. I'm still afraid of my drop spindle. Maybe this weekend is the time to finally find the courage!
