Ceallach Knits on Etsy and swatches

I have been playing around with beaded stitch markers and have been making tons as a result. The question then becomes what to do with the stitch markers, especially since there are limits to the number of stitch markers that you can use in your own knitting.

The answer of course is you post them on etsy to sell to others for their knitting! To celebrate etsy and my stitch markers, I am offering a deal to readers of my blog on the stitch markers. Mention my blog and the date of this post between now and year end, and the price will be 2 sets of the $12 stitch markers for $20, excluding the Christmas stitch markers. I will adjust your bill in Paypal.

And of course, be sure and add http://ceallachknits.etsy.comto your favorites on etsy, and let me know if there are particular colors that you would like to see. And keep coming back as I just got a whole load of beads including some blown glass charms that are dying to be YOUR stitch markers for your next knitting project, that I will be posting either to etsy or Ceallach Dyes very soon.

I also have some things to show off....

Here is the detail of a Fair Isle/colorwork pattern that I have been playing with...You will see the results shortly!

Here is a swatch of Mare Tranquillitatis in Twist from my website.....Stockinette on size 7 needles over about 35 stitches. And here is a swatch of the Mystical Forest Lace in a simple lace pattern. One of my customers is knitting a stunning shawl with this stitch surrounding a central panel with a climbing vine pattern. I can't begin to say how gratifying it is to see my own solar-dyed yarns knit up....especially this one which has a place in my heart.

That's all for now.
